Art Works by Char

I started doing this when I was asked to. First a Tolkien style map for my husband’s hobbity parents, then more maps, then animals, then more animals. Families, friends and total strangers have suggested more ideas: their parents in their favourite spot in the garden, a pet cat playing PlayStation, two beloved Shih Tzus begging to go on holiday. Steadily a style heavily influenced by nature, stories and people’s idiosyncrasies and charm emerged and people kept asking for more. I’ve also just illustrated my first book which can be pre-ordered here.

So here I am, living in Lewes; a husband, a little one, an acting career & plenty of illustrating to keep me busy. I love drawing on people’s characters to illustrate their ideas, thoughts and memories. When not doing this, I draw and illustrate my own work. I hope you like it as much as I enjoy doing it.
